The events of January 6th went down like a fantasy for the progressive establishment who has been trying to convince the American public for years that Trump supporters are a bunch of gun-toting nutjobs who put everyone’s life at risk by attending one of his rallies, wearing a red baseball cap or simply existing.
Yes, it was entirely too perfect that activists in Trump gear illegally swarmed the Capitol Building as the electoral college votes in an election that the former POTUS firmly claimed had been rigged were certified.
There’s no reason to deny that genuine Trump supporters could have been included in that mob, but there’s also no reason to deny that far-left activists were clearly involved as well as a handful have admitted as much.
What’s more, in a story that hardly anyone is talking about but seems to bear a decent amount of merit, a member of the fringe anti-government group Boogaloo Bois openly took responsibility for coordinating the siege.
Nick Arama over at Red State notes that while we’ve all heard of John Sullivan, the BLM-linked activist who was arrested—twice—for the role he played in the breach of the Capitol Building, one Mike Dunn has gone largely unnoticed.
This is in spite of the fact that Dunn, a leader of the Boogaloo Bois in Virginia, told Reuters—freaking Reuters—that “three or four groups of loyalists under his command helped storm the Capitol.”
Dunn tweeted on January 6 that Boogaloo Bois were involved in the action at the Capitol, “BB teams have been activated in VA and we currently have 4 fireteams inside capital and 7 more outside. Sic temper Tyrannis.” For those who don’t recognize the Latin, that’s what John Wilkes Booth shouted after killing Abraham Lincoln at Ford’s Theater. It means, “Thus always to tyrants.”
The tweet has since been deleted, but not before a screengrab could be captured:

Arama explains further:
Interestingly, the person he’s talking with is Jason Charter, who has been involved at multiple BLM/Antifa actions in the D.C. area, who seems to know him enough to know he’s not a Trump supporter and ask what he was doing there. Dunn even calls Trump a “tyrant” in the tweet.
And as Reuters reported:
Dunn’s hope is that the incident – which resulted in five deaths – will trigger more actions in the months ahead. He said his group would seek to advance its own agenda by participating at protests and other events with those angry over Trump’s loss, even if they held other beliefs.
Dunn said boogaloos would be “working overtime” to advance their cause. When asked whether boogaloos had planned to attack the Capitol, he responded: “Just know there is more to come.”
Nothing to see here however, move along.
