On Monday, Washington, D.C. Public Schools announced they will be participating in the Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action program, which, among other things, aims at “disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement” and promoting the notion that anyone, even children, can “choose their own gender.”
It’s amazing that anyone even bothers trying to refute criticism that both public schools and the Black Lives Matter organization and ideologically aligned movements are promoting a radical, anti-Western Marxist philosophy intent on dismantling societal structures like the traditional family.
They’re openly promoting it! What’s to refute?
This cultural rot used to be considered child abuse causing mental anguish. This at one time could cause state child protective services to remove children from a home to be placed in a safer environment. Parents were referred for felony criminal charges.
The Daily Wire reports that in emails they’ve obtained, the D.C. school district will be using the BLM critical race theory-based curricula for Black History Month.
The email linked to resources from Teaching Tolerance, a branch of the controversial Southern Poverty Law Center that classifies any group further right than Bill Maher as a “hate group.”
It also included a video from D.C. public school teachers explaining the importance of “anti-racism” activism.
“The district’s platform is centered around Black Lives Matter’s ‘13 Guiding Principles,’ which calls for queer and transgender affirmation and ‘restorative justice,’ among other priorities. The guide calls for the dismantling of the ‘patriarchal practice’ of requiring mothers to parent their children while also participating in ‘justice work,” the DW explains.
The guide also calls on school districts to work towards the establishment of “Black Villages,” which are meant to further the “disruption” of the nuclear family unit by viewing children communally. We used to call them ghettos. Typical liberal rebranding. It is still a ghetto.
“We are committed to disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another,” the guide reads. “Especially ‘our’ children.”
This as D.C. schools rank near the bottom of all public school districts nationwide in terms of test scores and dropout rates. They rank 49th out of all 50 states plus the D. C. with only New Mexico and Louisiana faring worse. K-12 public schools aren’t centers for learning anymore. They indoctrinate and produce future idiots that can be manipulated throughout life by the Democrat Party.
These are black and Hispanic children being exploited to further a progressive Democrat political agenda. This is what true racism looks like.
