DNC Delegates Show True Colors, Cut “Under God” From Pledge Of Allegiance

Well, the Democratic National Convention is in full swing, albeit in virtual form, which has prompted comparisons to a “national Zoom meeting” for liberals.

And in case you had any doubt that the party that has been pushed so far to the left that the Obama administration is starting to look centrist, two delegates also nixed the words “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the republic for which it stands. One nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all,” delegate A.J. Durrani said during the DNC’s virtual assembly of Muslim delegates and allies, according to The Washington Free Beacon (wait…aren’t we always being told that Muslims worship the same God? So why this conspicious omission?)

The Free Beacon adds that “Another delegate also omitted the words during the LGBTQ caucus meeting on Tuesday. The delegate paused for a beat, then proceeded with the pled.”

The phrase in question has often been controversial, highlighting the growing divide between the secular and the faith our nation was founded on. The Free Beacon explains:

The phrase “under God” has been controversial since President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed a bill into law inserting the phrase into the Pledge of Allegiance. In perhaps the most visible legal challenge to the phrase to date, an atheist father sued a school district on behalf of his daughter arguing that the phrase’s inclusion in the pledge violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.

A circuit court ruled that the pledge violated the Establishment Clause, but the Supreme Court reversed the ruling, finding that the father lacked legal standing to sue. The Court did not address the issue of the words’ inclusion in the pledge.

Not only is omitting “under God” from the pledge a slap in the face to the Creator that our Founding Fathers knew endows us with our unalienable rights, as well as the millions of Americans who worship Him, but it completely changes the context of the pledge.

Is this one nation under a divine being that sees us all as equal and gives us our worth? Or is this one nation under an all-powerful state, run by fallible and corruptable men?

You probably already knew that the Democrat Party has been worshipping the later for a very long time…so do you expect them to do anything but increase the power of said state when they’re elected?

The campaign for presumed Democratic nominee Joe Biden, meanwhile, has been trying to play up the former Vice President’s Catholic faith to appeal to the small sliver of voters who may be devout Christians but still don’t want to vote for President Donald Trump.

When Biden was still appearing in person earlier this year, he attempted to quote the Declaration of Independence and faltered when he arrived at the portion that mentions a Creator.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women are created, by the, you know, you know the thing,” Biden said at the time.

“The thing.”

This is what the Democrats think about our God.

As John Adams said, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Can we trust a party that shies away from even mentioning God to govern according to His morals?
