Prominent leaders in the country of France have come out and issued warnings that many of the social and racial theories that are being imported into their country from the United States from our universities are doing massive damage to their society and the democratic values they hold dear.
This is probably true, seeing as how these same theories are also obliterating our own culture and way of life. It’s only logical that as these ideas spread across the globe they would have a similar impact on other societies.
Let’s call it the equivalent of an intellectual COVID 19 where infectious racial theories spread like a virus looking for healthy bodies to take over and are nearly impossible to contain or control.
According to a report from Disrn, back in late October, French President Emmanuel Macron said, “certain social science theories entirely imported from the United States.” Jean-Michel Blanquer, a French educator, felt the same way.
“No one has the right to cowardice anymore,” the French educator stated. “There is a fight to be waged against an intellectual matrix coming from American universities and intersectional theses, which want to essentialize communities and identities, at the antipodes of our republican model which, for its part, postulates equality between human beings, independently of their characteristics of origin, sex, religion.”
He then went on to say that these ideologies are a “breeding ground for a fragmentation of our society and a vision of the world which converges with the interests of the Islamists.”
He said what?
Macron himself has set his sights on American media, criticizing it for often promoting flawed and dangerous ideas that focus on identity politics.
“When I see… journalists who write in a country that is the heir to the Enlightenment and the French Revolution — when I see them legitimizing this violence, and saying that the heart of the problem is that France is racist and Islamophobic, then I say the founding principles have been lost,” Macron stated sometime last November.
Alexander Neef, the brand new director of the Paris Opera, published a report on the diversity measures the company is taking and has promised to focus on racial equality and placed a ban on blackface. Both of these measures have been ripped apart by French intellectuals over their alignment with radical left-wing politics here in America.
A French newspaper called Le Monde stated that Neef has “soaked up American culture for 10 years” while he was living in Canada.
It’s no lie that these ideas are damaging to a country’s culture. Just look at the damage they have done here. We are almost wholly unrecognizable as the nation we were just 20 years ago, and that’s not a good thing.
