In 2020 as in 2016, the left has been pearl-clutching over their fabricated concern that President Donald Trump will not peacefully concede should he fail to win the election on Tuesday.
I’m sorry—is it not supporters of Joe Biden and the ideologically-adjacent radical left that has been waging violent skirmishes for control of the streets in several of America’s major cities over the last five months?
To listen to the narrative of the mainstream media, you’d think that President Donald Trump was some sort of banana republic dictator, prepared to deploy paramilitary units to assassinate his political opponents and declare himself president for life.
Speaking of banana republic dictators, it was the Democrat Party, with the very likely awareness of the Obama White House itself, who concocted phony intelligence that the ’16 Trump campaign had been compromised by Russia and then disseminated it within the federal intelligence agencies to spur federal investigations that would undermine Trump’s presidency for two-plus years and even still…but I digress.
Trump has been clear he will peacefully concede a clean and fair election without voter fraud that has become a trademark of Democrat get-out-the-vote strategy while expressing some healthy skepticism shared by many that, should this be the case, he probably should be skeptical of the accuracy of the popular vote totals.
But why isn’t anyone asking about what the radical left would do should Trump win the election, something which, judging by the enthusiasm of his base and the inaccuracy of the polls in 2016, seems quite likely? Hilary Clinton has even said that under no circumstances should Biden concede this election. Does that include the circumstance that Trump actually wins the electoral college? Not even then, the media should ask her and Joe?
You’ve got to be lying to yourself to look at these two factions of the American public—MAGA-hat wearing, working- and middle-class Americans, Christians, parents, law enforcement officers, small business owners, the backbone of our nation vs. the black-clad, violent, radical Antifa terrorists who have been rioting, looting, vandalizing, and even killing in our streets in openly declared war against the systems they perceive to be in need of radical upheaval and even abolishment?
Don’t get me started on the Marxist ideology of Black Lives matter.
Are we seriously concerned about Trump and his supporters causing mayhem and violence…when literal terrorists have been openly, plainly, and freely violating the rule of law in the name of their preferred politics?
Turns out, the far-left is already preparing to “make sure Trump leaves” the White House, so convinced are they that he will lose and not concede.
Summit News recently reported that the group Shut Down DC is planning to “be in the streets before the polls even close,” and has declared that “Trump will not leave office without mass mobilization and direct action.”
“On Election Day, when you’re done voting, doing election protection, or getting out the vote, come join us at Black Lives Matter Plaza,” states the group’s manifesto.
“We’re inviting everybody who agrees with these organizing principles to work together to make this uprising happen. We’re going to make sure Trump leaves.”
What, exactly, this means is not specified. But it doesn’t take much imagination in light of the way the radical left has been behaving this election year. In their minds, they never lose elections, elections are stolen from them when they lose. Get ready for that theme.
