Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has served a first term in Congress that has been riddled with controversy and radicalism.
As one part of the notorious “Squad,” she has bumped around between making veiled antisemitic comments on Twitter, referring to 9/11 as that time “some people did something,” and being accused of both homewrecking and campaign finance violations.
To say nothing of an alleged cash-for-ballots scheme on the part of her reelection campaign and that whole thing about her likely marrying her brother to commit campaign fraud.
Yeah, this lady is a piece of work.
So, not to be outdone by the movement to defund the police, she’s Twitter-backed a call to defund…the Pentagon.
Yeah, not a great look for someone who has laughed at Americans for fearing Al Qaeda.
While we are reassured that all her avid anti-American rhetoric is somehow patriotic, when brand new Justice Democrats congressional candidate Cori Bush (D-MO) encouraged her followers to think of how many social programs could be supported once “we defund the pentagon,” instead of steering clear of that mess, Omar instead happily retweeted.
“If you’re having a bad day, just think of all the social services we’re going to fund after we defund the Pentagon,” the St. Louis native tweeted.
This statement was also cheered by the group People for Bernie, who took it a step further:

BizPac Review notes that “Bush, a surrogate for Sanders in the Democratic primary race, has been endorsed by the former presidential candidate. She also has the support of Justice Democrats who have backed Omar as well as Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., and Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash.,” according to Fox News.
Meanwhile, Anthony Rogers, one of the Republican candidates running against Bush assessed that perhaps his opponent “might be a little slow.”
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy responded, “Reprehensible. Every single Democrat should disavow this statement from @CoriBush.”

“Cori Bush can’t know what the Pentagon actually does right?” asked one understandably aghast Twitter user.
Cori Bush can’t know what the Pentagon actually does right? I mean…..I just-

Folks, the Democrat Party has officially been taken over by the far left-wing socialist lunatic fringe.
