The progressive left has successfully convinced millions of people that those who violate our nation’s sovereign borders rather than find their way to an official point of entry are entirely sympathetic and any criticism of their intentions or characters is inherently racist and, let’s face it, the fact that anyone alive still opposes amnesty for all and wide-opens-borders is clear-cut evidence of systemic white supremacy.
The reality is that many of those individuals who do illegally cross our border do so because they are criminals and, as is typical of criminals, have no respect for the laws of our nation.
President Donald Trump was slammed as a racist for pointing out that rapists and criminals cross into our country illegally back in 2015 when he first announced his run, and the left have taken that logical fallacy and ran with it over the last five years.
Should a malleable progressive, accused rapist and selling US influence from his position as VP Joe Biden be illegitimately sworn into office, we can certainly expect to kiss any advantage in border security our nation has gained during the Trump years goodbye.
On Friday, US Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo South Station arrested a convicted child molester south of Laredo, Texas, who had previously been deported from the country.
The registered sex offender, 36-year-old Oscar Melgoza-Barajas was among a group of eight people taken into custody by law enforcement.
According to a US Customs and Border Protection press release, it was discovered that Melgoza-Barajas had been convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child Under 13 in Chicago, Illinois in August 2004.
The press release details the arrest saying that on the night of November 27, agents apprehended the group of illegal immigrants around Riverhill Subdivision. At that time, Mexican national Melgoza-Barajas was identified.
As a result of his arrest and conviction in Chicago in 2004, he was sentenced to serve six years and six months in prison and had to register as a sex offender. His records also show that he has been previously deported from the United States.
Melgoza-Barajas is being criminally charged for violating immigration laws and will be remanded into the custody of the US Marshals to await trial.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, between June 1, 2011, and June 30, 2020 there have been 219,000 criminal illegal aliens arrested in the state of Texas alone.
These 219,000 illegal aliens have been charged with 350,000 criminal offenses including, “640 homicide charges; 39,537 assault charges; 6,647 burglary charges; 43,361 drug charges; 533 kidnapping charges; 4,238 sexual assault charges; 5,440 sexual offense charges; and 3,575 weapon charges.”
That’s just in the state of Texas.
And Democrats say they support deporting illegal aliens who have committed a major crime but they never describe what those major crimes are or how they will ensure that they cannot return.
Imagine when the progressive left talks Biden into “defunding CPB” or “abolishing ICE”.
