Rep. Kevin McCarthy Rips New Tax Bill, Says Real Winner In The Bill Is China

Rep. Kevin McCarthy, a Republican from California, recently stated during an interview that President Joe Biden, who is currently being heavily pressured by progressive Democrats, continues to state he’s all for the working-class in America, but the tax-and-spend bills, along with the $3.5 trillion reconciliation legislation are nothing more than two giant victories for China.

“You know who wins in this tax bill? China,” McCarthy went on to say during a conversation on Thursday’s “Spicer & Co.” “The global minimum tax is going to make companies in America leave America because it’s a tax advantage to be somewhere else.”

Also, the Democrats’ long-sought “redistribution of wealth” plan to “tax the rich” — as the backside of the dress Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., wore to the Met Gala this week read — is picking winners Democrats “like” in the economy.

“Then there’s this wokeism of this tax bill. It’s redistribution of wealth,” McCarthy then told the co-hosts of the program. The president, he said, ”punishes the businesses that he dislikes to move it to someplace that he does. So, if you are creator of energy — that you make America energy-independent — he punishes you.”

“But if you make $800,000, he gives you a reward for buying a Tesla and sending your child to Yale. This isn’t about real working Americans,” he added.

The truth is, liberals have never, ever been for the middle-class, the average working people who are the backbone of the United States. All of their tax hikes inevitably fall back on this particular demographic.

Businesses layoff workers as a result of higher taxes. Workers themselves have to try to get by on smaller paychecks. And then, of course, there’s the fact that the taxes on the rich and on businesses filter down to the middle-class through rising prices as these individuals seek to rake in more profit by passing the tax off in the cost of needed goods and services.

The left does not care for the working-class.
