Sen. Tom Cotton Calls On Biden To Consider China A “Dangerous Threat” To The United States

Written with contribution from Sheriff David Clarke

During the Monday morning edition of FNC’s “Fox & Friends” program, Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton, one of the boldest Republicans serving our nation right now, issued a call for President Joe Biden to step up to the plate, do his job as our commander-in-chief, and recognize the “dangerous threat” that is posed by China to the United States.

According to a new report from Breitbart News, Cotton pointed out the role the Chinese Communist Party in causing the massive global spread of COVID-19, which originated in the city of Wuhan, as proof that the president needs to come out and take a strong stance against Chinese leadership as it attempts to “bend and corrupt” the rule to their own advantage.

“The campaign has said the Chinese leadership weren’t bad folks and that they weren’t our competitors,” the Arkansas senator outlined. “Of course, they’re our most dangerous and long-term strategic competitor. But to simply rebuke President Trump for being the first president in two generations to stand up to the Chinese Communist Party and to say he’s going to do it differently but not specifying what he’s going to do differently is not a show of strengths.”

“Even his friends in liberal media are demanding that we have access to the labs in Wuhan, that China begins to come clean about what happened there a year ago,” Cotton said.

“There are other things, of course, he can do, like continue the arms sales that we accelerated to Taiwan in the Trump administration, make it clear that we’re going to stand with our allies on China’s periphery as they continue to threaten places like Taiwan and India, and make clear that we recognize that China is a dangerous threat. And he says he wants to follow the international rules of the road, make it clear that we know that China uses those international rules and organizations and tries to bend and corrupt them to their own interests and that we’re not going to stand by and let them do that,” he added.

One thing is for sure. China should absolutely be held accountable for the part they played in the spread of the coronavirus. How many innocent people died from the spread of this illness would still be alive today if China had provided adequate information about cases and deaths caused by the virus?

That Hunter Biden laptop thing might be in the way of calling out China.
