Have you been wondering over the past week how, exactly, those on the progressive left can justify their vehement outrage over the Capitol Hill siege last week and the entire summer of leftist-backed rioting and violence, well, our good friends over at CNN are breaking down just this.
Thanks, guys.
Never to miss an opportunity to make complete fools of themselves and everything they stand for, the fake news network’s golden boys recently broke down why the Black Lives Matter riots last year were totally OK and totally not at all, in any way, comparable to pro-Trump activists (who were probably egged on by radical leftists, by the way) who breached the Capitol building last week.
“Overturning the election is different than being pissed off about being shot by cops,” Chris Cuomo, in full, glorious tone deafness, said of an incident in which a civilian was shot by a cop, when immigration official Ken Cuccinelli pressed him on the pathetic lack of condemnation of the BLM riots, The Post Millennial reports.

He was later praised by his fellow CNN host, Don Lemon, at the end of his program after enduring constructive criticism of his side’s own insane hypocrisy.
“That was a very important interview,” Lemon glowingly told his buddy.
“And listen, I’m glad you mentioned about being shot by cops because you cannot compare. And I’m sick of people comparing. You can’t compare what happened this summer to what happened at the Capitol. It’s two different things.”
He has a point. The incident at the US Capitol was trespassing and vandalism. The riots in cities across America were anarchy and domestic terrorism.
“One is built on people, on racial justice, on criminal justice, right, on reform, on police not beating up, or police treating people of color differently than they do whites. Okay? That is not a lie,” Lemon declared, with the full confidence of one who has absolutely no idea what his ideological opponents actually believe.
“What happened at the Capitol was built on a lie perpetrated by the president and the people who support him. So, just on that one merit, if you want to call it, it’s not comparable. That things are not comparable. So they should not be doing it. And stop this whataboutism,” he continued, again hilariously unaware as to what the criticism of the Black Lives Matter movement is in the first place.
Yeah, a lot of people think that claims about widespread systemic racism are also misleading, Don. But you wouldn’t hear anything about that in your protective little progressive bubble, would you?
Neither anchor, the PM notes, touched on how all those small business owners and residents of cities ravaged by the violence felt about the ideological movement that appears so admirable and honorable to wealthy Manhattanite propagandists like Lemon and Cuomo.
